Reason for mediatek processor

  • why creo choose older mediatek helios processor to disappoint the people ,even without finger print sensor

  • @Krishna-Bhoopathy might e coz they focussing on software part.

  • i accept they are focussing on software and planning for monthly updates but hardware is more important than software

  • @Krishna-Bhoopathy Yeah! I’d have love to see a SD650 Variant of Mark 1. But, now that this device is launched, we cannot do anything. So, lets just move on.

  • ya you are right untill they can take the juice from the processor.

  • hope we wait for review

  • Mediatek hardly provides sources and still you guys gave such good and new features. You huys have done a great job building these useful features

  • @Cynapse you will feel laggy while you playing games in this device due to mediatek

  • Lag while playing heavy games and not to forget Heating issues… Turn on Auto Brightness or Play a game and temp shoots upto 50 degrees on your phone. Waiting for some hands on reviews

  • Helio x10 is not a bad processor at all. Maybe a sd one was better, but that doesn’t mean creo is lagging with their first phone only due to this cause. They already put a very good feature set with nark 1. Now They need to focus on the software part, customers feedback, forum feedbacks, after sell service, availability of handsets in e commerce platforms…

  • @Krishna-Bhoopathy no hardware is nt that imp wen compared to software… Software optimisationscan make even a dump phone into ac cleverone… See fr eg apple… Their s run buttery smooth even on dual core processors with 1gb ram…😀😀

  • Mark 1 uses MediaTek Helio X10 , 8x Cortex-A53 which is mainly focused on greater energy efficiency. These are Little cores when compared to A57 (high performance core). So the A53 use less power, they drain the battery less, however they may run a little slower.

The first MediaTek Helio SoC is the Helio X10, an octa-core processor with four 2.0 GHz Cortex-A53 cores and four 2.2 GHz Cortex-A53 cores, backed by a PowerVR 6200 GPU, so the performance you get is next to the Exynos 7420 and Snapdragon 801.

  • @Krishna-Bhoopathy heat on processor should not be much when its compared to Letv 1s. and RN3 with SD650. because they underclocked it by 100 mhz. Also

  • @bejoys0091 completely agree with you. but the Quad HD is overkill for this processor.

  • Review by tech2 just took care of my concern around Lag due to MediaTek :

    Extract from the review -

The smartphone is powered by a 1.9GHz octa-core Mediatek Helio X10 processor coupled with 3GB RAM. It is the processor seen in the Le 1s, which is priced lower, and we didnt face any stutter or lag while using the device. The 3GB RAM is enough to handle all your applications. The connectivity options include support for 4G, 3G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi with support for ‘ac’ draft. It also supports a plethora of sensors including accelerometer, gyro, geo- magnetic, hall sensor, proximity, light and indicator light. It offers 32GB onboard storage, out of which 25GB is available for users.

  • @Faisal-Shaharyar Le 1s uses turbo version of helio x10.
