While you were away, Tech Arena was abuzz with these major events. Take a look:
a) Is it legal for Facebook to collect and store data of millions of WhatsApp users? A German privacy regulator doesn’t think so. It passed an order demanding Facebook to stop collecting and storing data as well as delete what it has retrieved so far. Facebook is set to appeal against this order. What’s your take on this?
b) Google has fixed its eyes on the “next billion” and is all set to transcend the barriers of low internet speed and poor connections with its latest array of products - Google Station, YouTube Go, Chrome web browser offline feature and quicker Google Play on 2G. Do you think Google’s plan to target the Indian market further will materialize with this?
c) You all must have read about Google’s Andromeda - a seamless union of Android and Chrome - by now. What do you think Google is planning to achieve with this?
